…She managed to make it halfway through her journey. She knew about all the leaks, knew where they were, and had even made patches herself to use when things got rough. It was exhausting to navigate the ship with all its challenges. There were other ships, small boats, and cruises around her. Sometimes the waves were so high that people would abandon their boats, jumping into the sea. Surprisingly, they often looked happier in the water than they had been while stuck on their boats, waiting for the storm to pass. Others would blatantly try to board her ship, hoping to survive longer.
How is that possible?
You might have to sacrifice more to survive, or perhaps you should let go and allow others to live. Your ship is leaking. It needs fixing, it needs patching. Even if you find refuge on other boats for a short time, what then? Should you let it leak to see where the problems are, let it sink to face the end, or maybe, find a chance for a new beginning?
