“Will you finish the rest of the French fries later?”

“Mom, I’m not sure, let’s leave them for now. I’ll see after we play together on the slide.”

As I followed her lead, I couldn’t help but notice how effortlessly she let go of making an immediate decision. She chose the “ now”, to live in the moment, freeing herself from the burden of overthinking.

Sometimes, embracing the present moment without dwelling on decisions allows us to truly be free from the constraints of our thoughts.

At just 5 years old, she taught me the essence of Falkland’s Law through her simple actions.
